Heidi Klippel is a San Diego native. She attended the University of San Diego (USD), majored in political science and graduated magna cum laude. Heidi enjoyed learning and was devoted to her studies. Throughout high school and college, Heidi was recognized every semester on the Dean'acute;s List and/or President´s List for an outstanding cumulative grade point average. Her academic profile and biography was published in a national publication, The National Dean´s List.
Heidi received the Phi Theta Kappa Society international scholastic honor award. She also received the Kappa Gamma Pi National Honor Society award her senior year. This award is given to one student in each area of undergraduate study. The chair of the political science department at USD, selected Heidi from her entire graduating class to receive this lifetime membership and award. She was also the founding member and president of the United Nations Debate team at USD. The USD United Nations Debate team competed in Chicago and Los Angeles. The majority of Heidi´s undergraduate education was paid for by scholarship funds particularly the William Randolph Hearst Foundation.
Knowing she wanted to be an attorney, Heidi has continually worked in law offices since the age of fourteen. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law and graduated within the top one-third of her graduating class. Heidi concentrated her law school studies in the areas of estate planning, tax planning and corporate/business law.
Heidi worked as an associate attorney for approximately three years before she decided to start her own law practice. She has now been practicing estate planning and corporate law for eight years. Heidi has been a featured guest on radio talk show host on a local radio station, 1170 am. The talk show addressed current estate and financial planning issues. Heidi has also taught as a an adjunct college professor at the San Diego Christian Heritage College, teaching undergraduate and various adult studies business law classes. Heidi is has also been a featured speaker at presentations located throughout Southern California, including speaking at the University of California, San Diego and Qualcomm.
